There are times when you are working with a program and it sundenly crashes for no apparent reason, or it’s closed by accident. Have you ever wished to have the possibility to restart that application automatically? If that is your case, there is a simple solution for you. Another similar example, is when a process has been finished, and then you would like to start a different one, but that it's not always possible, is it? But wait, now there is a small and freeware application called WatchDOG that will do this for you in a simple, convenient and user-friendly way. WatchDOG will monitor active processes on your system, and will perform a restart (or start a different process) if that process crashes or is stopped accidentally.
WatchDog could be useful depending on your needs. For example, I usually write some articles for my website in Microsoft Word, and now with WatchDog, when my articles are done and I close the application, my default email client is launched automatically and is ready to send my articles to my editor to publish them. |
